What’s this job like?

The last thing you want to be is a cog in a publicly traded cubicle farm. You're interested in interesting engineering challenges with practical applications in serving Oakley's customers and factory. This means developing for the web and for internal systems. We roll our own code for a wide range of specialized applications, but we're not above leveraging established platforms when it makes sense.

Here's what we play with on a daily basis: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, JSON, XML, REST, Linux, Apache, PHP, Python, NodeJS, MYSQL, RDP, SSH, NoSQL, Analytics, Business Intelligence, SEO, and PPC. we're always looking for new toys to play with, too.

Skills and education you’ll need.

Some basics:

• Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and proofreading skills.
• Have a minimum of 2 years with one previous employer.
• You need a high school diploma.
• You're fine using photocopiers and faxes (yes, even faxes sometimes).
• You know how to sit back and keep your cool if a customer loses theirs.
